Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what information DevioLab processes, why it is used, how it is protected and the choices available to users.
1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Policy applies to DevioLab websites, accounts, strategy tools, Signal Bots, Trading Bots, notifications and related software services. DevioLab is operated by the business responsible for the DevioLab service and identified in applicable account, billing or business records. Privacy questions can be sent to info@deviolab.com.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use DevioLab, we may process account and profile information such as username, email address, language and account settings; subscription and entitlement information; selected strategies and bots; notification preferences; trading-bot configuration; technical logs; security events; device/browser information; IP address; cookies or similar identifiers; support communications; and records necessary to operate the Service.
Where required for Service functionality, DevioLab may process trading-related records associated with connected accounts, including instrument symbols, strategy identifiers, order or trade status, quantities, prices, timestamps, allocated amounts and performance/statistical information.
3. Connected exchange API information
If you connect an exchange account, DevioLab processes the API credentials and account information necessary to provide the requested trading functionality. DevioLab's automated trading model is designed around trading permissions and does not require withdrawal permissions.
API credentials should be created with the minimum permissions necessary. Users remain responsible for their exchange account and for revoking or replacing credentials when needed.
4. Payments and Merchant of Record
When a third-party Merchant of Record or payment provider processes a purchase, payment-card and checkout information is collected and processed by that provider under its own privacy terms. DevioLab may receive transaction identifiers, customer contact information, purchased plan, subscription status, billing period, currency, amount, tax-related status and other information necessary to activate and manage the subscription.
Where FastSpring is used as Merchant of Record, FastSpring is responsible for the payment transaction and processes purchaser information according to its own privacy statement and terms.
5. Why we use information
We process information to create and secure accounts; provide strategy, Signal and Auto functionality; connect supported third-party services; deliver email and Telegram notifications; manage subscriptions and entitlements; display trade history and statistics; prevent abuse and fraud; diagnose errors; maintain security; provide support; comply with legal obligations; and improve the reliability and usability of the Service.
Where applicable, processing may be based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet security needs and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by data category and applicable law.
Some records may need to be retained after account closure where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
9. Privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent subject to legal and technical limitations.
Requests can be sent to info@deviolab.com. We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions and retention obligations.
10. Security
DevioLab uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect account and service information from unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure, and users are responsible for protecting passwords, email accounts, devices and exchange API credentials.
11. International processing
DevioLab is intended for an international user base. Service providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms are used for international data transfers.
12. Children
DevioLab is not intended for children or persons who are not legally eligible to enter into the relevant agreements or use trading services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly offer the Service to children.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, providers, technology or applicable law. The current version and effective date will be published here.
